THE CAMPAIGN

Ethereal, dramatic, eerie. A contemporary fable of love and loss born out in the misty forest. “Visions”, Kaminski XY’s campaign for AW15 season tells a tale, but is of course, all born out with incredible style… Shot in forest parkland in Australia, the campaign inspired by bygone fables and fairy tales remains futuristic in mood. Figures wander through dark tactile bark covered trees, wearing texturally rich accessories, and contemporary designs distinct in luxurious texture from the environment of harsh woodland, rough bark, and mist infused atmosphere. International fashion photographer Nicole Bentley, in demand with high end fashion titles and luxury brands alike, brings her high-end signature and editorial style to the campaign. Her skill and interplay with light, perspective and the natural environment and her sensitivity to the human form produce a campaign with a dramatic atmosphere and subtle intimacy. The Kaminski XY campaign stars local talent Edward Turner, brings a regal air to the season. Directed by Pete Moore, the AW15 film “Visions” brings the tale of morality, love, temptation and loss to the screen. Skilful direction from Moore, well known for his passion for visual story-telling and modern cinematic values, shapes the narrative and visual style with creative integrity. Director of Photography Ross Giardina elevates frames with his highly evolved eye and sense of scale, and plays artfully with light and shade to evoke the ethereal mood of the season.
